Some vaccinations are given as routine practice because the nature of the disease we’re vaccinating against requires this approach, however others may not be necessary. For every pet that visits Jackson and Nuttall, we assess every pet as an individual and will only advise vaccinations that are absolutely necessary to maintain your pet’s health.
For dogs, we recommend the following vaccinations:
- Canine distemper
- Canine hepatitis
- Canine parvovirus
- Canine leptospirosis
- Kennel cough — which covers for Bordetella bronchiseptica and parainfluenza
